The feedback we’ve received from our recent interview with Jennifer Gardner about her time on DIY SOS has been phenomenal. Which made us think; maybe we should involve you, the painters and decorators of today, in more of our blogs!
With this in-mind, we thought it would be the perfect time to catch-up with our good friend Neil Johnstone to see how his recent uniform order was treating him…
How did you find the ordering process and service you received from ourselves and the decorating centre?
The service I received from Mark and the team at Shield was excellent from start to finish. Mark created visual samples (of the uniform) then actual samples (of the designs) on all the different fabrics, which was a huge help. It gave me a great idea on how the finished garments would look.
My local decorating centre were great in dealing with my order, keeping me updated on prices and delivery dates.
What have your customers had to say about your professional appearance?
I’ve had numerous compliments from clients and other trades. Not to mention the incredibly positive reaction from the guys and gals on Twitter when I posted an image!
How has the uniform served you overall?
I’m thoroughly delighted with my new work wear. In fact I’ve already ordered some more T-Shirts and Beanie Hats!
Would you recommend company uniform to fellow painters and decorators?
Yes! I personally think image is getting more and more important these days. Part of my logo was a little tricky to say the least but Shield managed to recreate it perfectly (in embroidery) onto my Jackets, T shirts etc.
It was great to catch up with Neil and we’re delighted that the uniform is serving him well and earning him compliments from his clients!
